Patient Protocol

• Consultation with a specialist
• Laboratory tests, radiographs, and ancillary diagnostics as indicated
• Intravenous catheter

  • Induction: diazepam and propofol
  • Maintenance: intubation, oxygen, isoflurane and intravenous fluids
  • Monitoring: veterinary technician, pulse oximeter, and heart rate monitor
  • Recovery: in hospital

MRI Interpretation

• Team approach - board certified neurologists, surgeons, and radiologists
• Correlation of MRI findings with clinical evaluation
• Written report and digital images provided on CD-ROM
